I am currently studying Surface Pattern Design for Interiors at Swansea Metropolitan University.
This blog is incredibly personal to me because when designing I immerse myself within my work and it becomes part of who I am. It is very important that my designs reflect this, I try to achieve it by incorporating colour, stitch, layers and texture within my work.
I feel that by having this blog I am letting people in to a side of me I like to keep to myself. This is a big change for me so I will be embracing it!
There are times, particularly at a start of a project, where I lack in confidence and belief and I find it particularly hard to feel inspired. This blog has already helped inspire my Summer project because I feel motivated by my past works and want to achieve far more exciting results! I hope this blog helps me to reconnect with my creative self and interest others!
